Finding the Key Pieces in the Beauty and the Beast Realm
To begin the quest, players must speak with the Beast in the West Wing of his castle. He asks for assistance in retrieving key pieces based on riddles left by Lumiere. The first key piece is hidden inside the library's fireplace, which requires using the watering can to extinguish the flames.
The second key piece is obtained by using your pickaxe on the lion statue located outside the library entrance. Finally, head out into the maze in the garden area and use your shovel in the center digging spot to unearth the third key piece. Return these fragments to the Beast to open the chest containing the Enchanted Mirror.
Crafting the Book Kit for Belle
After acquiring the Enchanted Mirror, the Beast asks you to craft a special Book Kit to help make amends with Belle. You will need to gather 20 Fiber, 3 Purple Falling Penstemon, 1 Empty Vial, and 1 Feather. Fiber can be crafted from seaweed, while Purple Falling Penstemons grow naturally in the Plaza.
To acquire the feather required for the recipe, you must locate Scrooge McDuck and speak with him directly. Once you have gathered all necessary materials, assemble the Book Kit at any crafting bench and deliver it back to the Beast.
Locating the Beast's Grooming Items
Before apologizing to Belle, the Beast wants to present his best appearance by using his personal grooming items. Players must locate three specific items scattered around the West Wing: the Princely Cologne, Princely Shampoo, and Beast's Brush. The cologne rests on a small round table directly behind the Beast.
The shampoo can be found near the bathtub sitting on a table behind the privacy screens. To collect the brush, search inside the wooden chest located opposite the bathtub. Handing all three items to the Beast enables him to proceed with his heartfelt apology.
Welcoming Belle and the Beast to the Valley
Once the Beast completes his apology in the garden, speak to Belle to receive the plans for the Beast's Castle. Return to Dreamlight Valley and place the massive structure in any open area of your choosing. You will need to pay Scrooge McDuck 20,000 Star Coins at his sign to finish building the castle.
After construction is complete, Belle will officially move into your village. Take Belle's note back to the Beast in his realm to convince him to join her, concluding the quest successfully.
